Down the Rabbit Hole
Vertical layout design for a cinema booklet presenting and reviewing 17 of the cinema and video adaptations of Lewis Carroll’s masterpiece, Alice in Wonderland. The design is dynamic and inspired by the playing cards motif present in Alice in Wonderland, rhythmed by alternating reds and whites and using hearts for reviews. Black and white images or colour ones create different contrasts with single or double spread presenting enlarged quotes. Type treatment is straigthfoward and in the continuity of the vertical format of the booklet. Dark sections are used to distinguish non-cinematographic productions.
