‘CHALEUR’ (> “Heat” in french) was made with both digital and analogue techniques, using old CRT TVs to play and modify the video clips made digitally before that. It creates a grain, colours and distortion that’s never quite possible to obtain with only computer softwares methods. The song uses sensual and explicit themes around the idea of heat and the visuals were thought to portray that feeling of melting, hot, mystical sexual tension, whilst refeering to pop culture aesthetic.
